Role: Software Engineer (C++, Pro*C, Oracle 19C) Remote (US) Job Type: W2 Contract Experience required: 10+ years Mandatory Skills: C++, Pro*C, Oracle 19c, Splunk, Shell Script, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Python Job Description: • Tasked with overseeing the application, managing incidents, and maintaining its stability and availability. • Engage in various responsibilities such as managing incident requests, monitoring jobs, and performing root cause analyses. • Analyze and resolve issues by employing SQL queries for incidents like stuck claims and claim removals, along with executing SQL queries to detect and rectify problems. • Have practical coding and debugging skills in C++, Pro*C, Oracle/SQL databases, and Unix scripting. • Participate in and supervise activities like server maintenance and upgrades to ensure all functions operate correctly following patching. • Perform development and enhancement in in C++ and Pro*C • Skilled in Oracle databases and SQL queries to retrieve and validate data. • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and scripting needed for executing jobs and monitoring server performance.
